Instructors: Jeanee Duval
Instructs Zumba classes
Jeanee Duval has danced her whole life. As a young girl in Muskegon,
Michigan, she briefly studied ballet and tap, but later took up
recreational dance activities, such as cheerleading, and often
choreographed for her squad. After high school, Jeanee continued to
perform. She was a member of a competitive dance group, City in Motion, in
Detroit, Michigan. When Jeanee's creative talents lead her to Hallmark in Kansas
City, she found Zumba - and it was a perfect fit. The Latin-inspired style
allowed Jeanee to incorporate all of her prior dance and fitness experience
in jazz, belly dance, hip-hop, West African, kickboxing and yoga. Jeanee
became a certified Zumba instructor in December 2006 and continues to
perfect her form through master classes – some taught by Beto, the creator
of Zumba himself. When she isn't designing, sewing, knitting,
craft-swapping, or trying new recipes, Jeanee is probably dancing."
